Scrum Master – Agile Transformation

Project overview

Project: For our client, we are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong coaching and moderation skills. In this role, you will guide agile teams through organizational changes, promote a sustainable agile way of working, and support the continuous development of collaboration, processes, and product development.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring and moderating all Scrum events (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospectives etc.)
• Planning and facilitation of workshops as well as larger formats like PI Planning and System Demos
• Coaching of teams and stakeholders in the application of agile methods and Scrum principles
• Promoting cross-team collaboration and an open feedback culture
• Identification, transparency, and removal of impediments at team and product level
• Co-design and coordination of change and transformation initiatives
• Further development of working models, ways of working, and agile collaboration formats
• Promotion of self-organization, personal responsibility, and continuous improvement
• Supporting teams in the development of high-quality products
• Structuring and preparing documentation, decision-making bases, and communication documents (Confluence, planning documents etc.)
• Promoting transparency regarding goals, priorities, and progress
• Supporting the Product Owner in effective Product Backlog Management and clear documentation of requirements

• Several years of experience as a Scrum Master in complex agile project or product environments
• Experience in organizational transformation or change initiatives
• Technological affinity and good understanding of modern software or product development
• Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM, or comparable)
• Experience with agile metrics and data-driven continuous improvement
• Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe)
• Very good knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Strong coaching and facilitation competence
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and responsible personality
• Ability to actively drive change
• Systemic thinking and understanding of organizational contexts
• Strong communication and moderation skills
• High social competence and team orientation
• Conflict-resilient and confident in dealing with different interests
• Ability to structure and communicate complex issues understandably
• German fluent in spoken and written
• English fluent in spoken and written
