Project overview

Context

A major financial institution is accelerating its IT transformation to better align its information system with the group's strategy.

The IT department is evolving its positioning towards an Agile at Scale organization, a partner to the business units, at the heart of the institution's strategy, in order to deliver the best service and value proposition to clients and employees.

It is evolving its culture and working methods to move towards an organization that integrates and orchestrates innovative solutions, within an ecosystem of startups and communicating platforms.

One of the main levers of this transformation is the deployment of the SAFe framework (Agile at Scale).

In this context, 8 ARTs (Agile Release Trains) were launched at the end of 2020, with 1 Train comprising approximately 14 teams (Agile Teams) that need to be supported by Scrum Masters.

This request concerns the provision of a Scrum Master who will support the SSI team.

Missions

The Scrum Master's mission is to support and facilitate the work of their Agile Team(s) in structuring and carrying out their activities.

• Organizes and facilitates the team's Scrum ceremonies
• Helps the team identify areas for improvement and find solutions
• Is responsible for the team's continuous improvement
• Guarantees team performance monitoring and tracking of obstacles that slow the team down
• Protects the team from external interference and interruptions
• Creates visual indicators and team information materials
• Facilitates intra- and inter-team communication
• Also helps the Product Owner improve the backlog structure, writing, breakdown, and estimation of user stories
• Builds team synergy, familiarizes members with practices that improve collaboration
• Coaches the team to maximize product value at each iteration
