Job description
Lead the regional deployment of new SD-WAN infrastructures for industrial and tertiary sites, managing projects from planning to handover.
Project overview
Within a team dedicated to network projects and services, you will lead the regional deployment of new SD-WAN infrastructures on industrial and tertiary sites. You will frame the projects, build and monitor schedules, coordinate operators and local teams, and lead monitoring committees. In conjunction with network architects, you will contribute to gathering requirements and developing technical solutions.
You will anticipate risks and unforeseen events, propose arbitration scenarios, and ensure the monitoring of deliverables, actions, workloads, and budget projections. You will organize go-lives, support change management, transfer skills to operations teams, and ensure the decommissioning of obsolete infrastructures. Complementary projects may concern LAN redesign, site connectivity, and, occasionally, network evolutions in data centers.
Profile
Desired experience of 7 to 8 years in managing network infrastructure projects, ideally in a regional environment and with operators.
Expertise in networks and end-to-end project management according to ITIL; mastery of deliverables, scheduling, and reporting.
Ability to contribute to technical choices and lead operational committees.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments; SD-WAN experience is a plus.
Clear communication, diplomacy, calmness, and pragmatism in managing stakeholders and conflict situations.
