Assignment Description

The Security Portfolio Manager is responsible for steering and coordinating the Security Roadmap within our department. The role focuses on creating an overview, monitoring progress and dependencies, ensuring governance, and ensuring the correct translation of strategic security objectives into concrete initiatives within the Jira portfolio model. The role holder acts as a linchpin between security, IT management, architecture, delivery teams, and other stakeholders, ensuring the roadmap is executed on time and according to agreements.

Background Assignment

As a Security Portfolio Manager, you will work within the CTO Office organizational unit. The CTO Office oversees the optimal and effective use of technology, providing direction and control. Technology includes hardware and software, but also the organization, processes, and methods required to offer services. One of the focus areas within the CTOO is Security, Continuity, and Privacy (SCP). The goal of Team SCP is to guarantee the security, continuity, and confidentiality of ICT in every phase of development by IT, both on the infrastructure and application side.

A Security Roadmap has been drawn up to steer the Security agenda.

Additional Information

When you, as a supplier, offer a professional to us and they are placed, we will need information from you as the contracting party, including regarding the Chain and Principal Liability Act (Wet keten- en inlenersaansprakelijkheid). The purpose of the 'WKA' is to prevent abuse in the remittance of payroll taxes at all links in the chain; from supplier to client. We cover these risks for our clients through a blocked account, the G-account. This is an account to which a portion of the invoice amount is deposited and from which you can pay payroll taxes and VAT to the Tax Authorities.

The percentage to be deposited depends on whether you have SNA certification (NEN-4400-1 or NEN-4400-2) and whether your company is based in the Netherlands or abroad. You can apply for the G-account from the Tax Authorities. If you cannot obtain a G-account (and you can provide proof of this from the Tax Authorities), you also have the option to submit an auditor's report (assurance report regarding personnel lending) every quarter. In this, a certified accountant (AA or RA) will issue a statement on the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the remittances.
