Experienced Security Service Engineer needed for a telecommunications client to strategically and technically develop security and network services. The role involves designing innovative security solutions, enhancing existing services, and managing projects from concept to implementation.
Project overview
For our client in the telecommunications sector, we are looking for an experienced Security Service Engineer who will be responsible for the strategic and technical further development of security and network services. In this position, you will design innovative security solutions, further develop existing services, and manage cross-departmental projects from conception to technical implementation.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic and technical conception, development, and further development of security services and associated infrastructure components
- Planning, control, and implementation of projects for the introduction and optimization of IT security and network services
- Development of technical security solutions, considering existing and new product requirements
- Conception and further development of data and network services according to individual customer requirements
- Analysis and evaluation of existing network and security architectures, as well as identification of optimization potential
- Coordination and control of cross-departmental projects, as well as close collaboration with internal specialist departments and technical contacts
- Consideration of relevant security standards and regulatory requirements in the development of new services

- Completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in IT Security, Network Operations, or Telecommunications
- Profound knowledge of network architectures and network protocols in the provider and enterprise environment
- Experience with common IT security standards, especially BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001
- Experience in the conception, development, or further development of security and network services
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured and self-reliant way of working
- Experience in technical project coordination and collaboration with various specialist departments
- Very good German skills (at least C1) and ideally good English skills (at least B1)
