Project overview

You will be responsible for the technical management of the IBM Filenet application. You will work within a complex technical ICT architecture. With your knowledge and skills, you will automate and improve the management of the Defense environments. You will ensure that the management documentation is in order, resolve incidents, both independently and in a team, handle customer requests, and ensure timely realization of assignments, and help junior administrators in their development in this field.

The candidate will work in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) department, which is responsible for the technical management of Filenet, among others. You will work in a challenging environment together with a team of administrators of different levels. In addition to performing technical management, you will also collaborate extensively with functional management and developers.

Where will you work?

You will be working within the IT Applications section, which is responsible for the technical management of all applications and databases within Defense. The section is not only responsible for daily management to ensure continuity and provide customers with worry-free services, but the section also participates in new projects. This can be based on existing technologies, but innovation is also increasingly being carried out to introduce new developments.

Background of the assignment

JIVC is the IT supplier for Defense, both for specific and generic IT services. High demands are placed on security requirements, standards, and the assurance of legal frameworks and regulations for the delivery of various IT services.

Generic description of competence area and levels

Implements and supervises the evolution of an ICT solution. Ensures efficient control and planning of software or hardware modifications to prevent multiple upgrades from yielding unpredictable results. Minimizes service interruption due to changes and adheres to the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA). Ensures consideration and compliance with information security procedures.

Summary of task and mission

Manages ICT system components to meet service requirements. Installs software, configures and improves ICT systems. Manages daily activities to meet continuity of service, recovery, security, and performance needs.
