Senior Advisor Human Trafficking Approach (secondment)

Project overview

As a senior advisor, you will implement the VNG's approach to human trafficking and support municipalities with their local approach.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Advising the VNG directorate, administrators in VNG committees, and the VNG board on the approach to human trafficking and relevant policy developments
• Translating identified bottlenecks and developments into concrete proposals for municipalities and the VNG
• Shaping, together with center municipalities and chain partners, the renewal of the reception structure for victims of human trafficking
• Translating relevant European legislation and regulations into usable frameworks and action perspectives for the local approach
• Connecting municipal advisors and administrators with national and regional network partners and stimulating knowledge sharing and advocacy
• Completed HBO or WO education
• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a project leader, senior advisor, advisor, or consultant within the (care and) security or social domain
• Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative advising of directorates and/or administrators within the public sector
• Minimum 5 years of experience in setting up and leading projects and processes involving multiple public and/or societal organizations working together
