Senior Atlassian Consultant

Project overview

For a demanding Atlassian introduction project at a financial services company in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced Senior Atlassian Consultant on a freelance basis, starting as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Conception and implementation of the Atlassian introduction with a focus on a production-ready and operational ITSM solution to replace the existing ITSM tool.
• Setup, administration, and configuration of Jira Service Management, Jira, and Confluence, including workflows, automations, rules, and permissions, as well as Atlassian Guard.
• Introduction of CMDB and Assets, including conducting discovery runs and conception and implementation of data migration from the existing ITSM system.
• Creation of IT, business, and solution concepts, as well as development of suitable best practices, considering the existing IT application landscape and Atlassian cloud integration.
• Consulting the client on ITSM processes and Atlassian, including process modeling, license management, and ideally, the application possibilities of Atlassian AI Rovo.

Requirements

• At least two successfully completed Atlassian/Jira introduction projects with a comparable scope of services, at least one of which was at a financial services company, ideally a public bank.
• At least four years of professional experience in Atlassian consulting, preferably with the introduction of ITSM platforms, as well as in-depth practical experience with Jira Service Management, Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian Guard.
• Deep technical understanding of IT application landscapes and Atlassian cloud integrations, including experience with data migrations and CMDB/Assets discovery.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as in-depth ITIL 4 knowledge and experience in modeling ITSM processes.
• Basic knowledge of DORA and banking regulatory requirements; knowledge of Atlassian license management and Rovo is advantageous.
