Job description
Seeking a Senior Backend Developer with extensive Java and Spring Boot experience for a 100% remote role within Germany. The project involves developing and implementing technical components using Event-Sourcing, NATS, and cloud-native environments.
Responsibilities
- Programming, implementation, and customization of technical components based on Java, Spring Boot, Event-Sourcing with the Axon Framework, and NATS as a messaging broker, including associated interfaces, modules, and databases.
- Development and operation of components in a cloud-native environment (Kubernetes/OpenShift, AWS) and provision and maintenance of infrastructure as code using Pulumi.
- Setup and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
- Ensuring the observability of components using Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo, including providing suitable metrics, logs, and traces.
- Fixing errors from test phases in applications and components.
- Creation and maintenance of automated tests (unit, integration, and component tests) to secure developed functionality.
- Documentation of technical components and creation of system documentation.
- Creation of delivery packages, including associated release notes.
- Technical support for norm-compliant development of safety-relevant systems according to CENELEC (EN 50126 / EN 5016) including creation and maintenance of required development artifacts and adherence to specifications from configuration and change management.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development using Java (> 5 years of experience).
- Experience in backend development using Spring Boot (> 5 years of experience).
- CENELEC know-how in software development (2 projects).
- Experience with Hexagonal Architecture or comparable (> 3 years of experience).
- Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) (> 3 years of experience).
Nice to have
- Observability using suitable tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Tempo (> 3 years of experience).
- Experience with AWS (> 3 years of experience).
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi (> 5 years of experience).
- Experience with Event Driven Design (> 5 years of experience).
- Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift (> 3 years of experience).
- Experience in backend development using NATS as a messaging broker (> 5 years of experience).
