Responsibilities
-Conception and implementation of the technical connection of an existing specialist application to a national data exchange and integration platform
-Development and integration of necessary interfaces between online applications and backend systems
-Definition, modeling, and implementation of the necessary data structures and data exchange formats
-Further development and optimization of existing Java-based backend components
-Ensuring compliance with functional, technical, and regulatory requirements
-Development and expansion of web services and service interfaces
-Participation in architectural decisions and technical concepts
-Support in quality assurance, testing, and documentation
Requirements
-Several years of experience in backend development with Java/Jakarta EE
-Sound knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
-Experience with EJB
-Experience in the development and further development of web services
-Confident handling of REST APIs, XML, and JSON
-Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar)
-Know-how in build and DevOps tools such as Maven, Git, Jenkins, or SonarQube
-Experience with automated tests, unit, and integration tests
-Experience in agile development environments (Scrum/Kanban)
Nice to have
-Angular, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies
-Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based architectures
-Microservices and API-first approaches
-Apache Camel, Red Hat Fuse, or Quarkus
-Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
