Senior Backend Node.js/TypeScript Engineer (Azure, GenAI Secure GPT Platform)

Project overview

Contract role in Lisbon (2 days/week onsite) for a senior JavaScript/TypeScript engineer focused ~90% on backend development for a multi-cloud GenAI platform, primarily the Secure GPT service. You will design and build APIs and backend features (document understanding, translation, agentic capabilities, automation), own delivery end-to-end (design, implementation, documentation, testing, monitoring), and operate services on Azure (App Services, Cosmos DB, Application Insights) with strong DevOps/CI-CD and IaC fundamentals.

Requires solid testing ownership (unit + E2E), prompt engineering capability, and good English communication in an international team.
