Senior BI / Business Analyst – Power BI, SQL & Data Integration (Lobster Data Advantageous)

Project overview

For an internationally active client in the medical technology and healthcare industry, we are looking for an experienced Senior BI / Business Analyst (m/f/d) with a strong focus on Power BI, SQL, ERP reporting, and data integration.

The focus is on taking over, supporting, and further developing an existing BI reporting landscape, as well as implementing new reporting requirements from various specialist areas, especially Supply Chain Management.

The client has an existing data warehouse, ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision), and Power BI reports. Additionally, Lobster Data is used as middleware for data integration and format conversion.

We are looking for a hands-on specialist who can quickly familiarize themselves with existing systems and independently implement reporting solutions from data extraction to the finished dashboard.

Framework Conditions:

Responsibilities

• Support, maintenance, and further development of existing Power BI reports and dashboards
• Development and optimization of complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
• Connection and evaluation of data from ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision
• Creation of data models, DAX calculations, and KPIs in Power BI
• Development of new ad-hoc reports for various specialist areas
• Implementation of Supply Chain Reporting, especially OTIF (On Time In Full), delivery performance, and order processing
• Automation of reporting processes and support of Power BI Gateway and Scheduled Refreshes
• Analysis and resolution of errors in existing reports, data models, and data processes
• Support of existing data integrations, interfaces, and mappings via Lobster Data
• Gathering business requirements and independent implementation of technical reporting solutions

• Several years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or Power BI Consultant
• Very good practical knowledge of Power BI, SQL, DAX, and Power Query
• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehouse environments
• Experience with ERP data and ERP reporting, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
• Experience in supporting and further developing existing BI solutions
• Knowledge of Power BI Gateway, data refresh, and reporting automation
• Experience with Supply Chain, Logistics, or OTIF reporting is advantageous
• Knowledge of data integration, interfaces, and data mapping
• Experience with Lobster Data is desirable, but not a must
• Independent, analytical, and hands-on working style
• Very good English skills
