• Development of complex, occasion-related data analyses using Python, Python Polars, and SQL.
• Conception, development, and maintenance of interactive Power BI reports to support business and strategic decision-making processes.
• Implementation of user-friendly, performant, and maintainable reports, considering best practices in the Power BI environment.
• Development, configuration, and maintenance of Power BI Dataflows for central data preparation and harmonization.
• Implementation of reusable transformation logic using Power Query.
• Ensuring consistent data models.
• Optimization of load and refresh processes.
• Connection and use of cloud-based data sources, especially AWS Athena, via suitable connectors.
• Analysis and querying of data from data lakes (e.g., based on Amazon S3).
• Ensuring efficient and performant data querying.
• Creation and optimization of semantic data models for analytical purposes.
• Definition of measures, KPIs, and calculations using DAX.
• Consideration of performance, reusability, and business logic in modeling.
• Ensuring data quality through plausibility checks, validations, and error analyses.
• Monitoring of data updates.
• Identification of deviations.
• Continuous improvement of data processes in close coordination with the business departments.
• Implementation of authorization and access concepts in Power BI, especially using Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Implementation of IT security guidelines, regulatory requirements (compliance),
• Customer's operational guidelines, and programming guidelines.
• Ensuring data protection and data security in data processing.

• MUST criteria:
• Min. 5 years of comprehensive experience in conducting complex data analyses with Python, including target-group-oriented preparation and presentation of results for various audiences.
• Min. 5 years of comprehensive practical experience in the conception, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports, including the use of DAX for KPIs and calculation logic.
• Sound experience in the creation, management, and optimization of Power BI
• Comprehensive practical experience in the use of SQL, min. 5 years.
• SHOULD criteria
• Experience in the preparation and analysis of data from railway traffic control and signaling technology from at least one relevant project.
• Experience in the analysis of railway operational data from at least one relevant project.
