Senior Business Analyst - ETL & Data Management

Project overview

For one of our clients in the banking environment, we are currently looking for a "Senior Business Analyst - ETL & Data Management" with a focus on data and data flows in AFC compliance systems.

Responsibilities

The assignment will be full-time and 60% on-site in Frankfurt am Main.

• Analyzing functional requirements for data and data flows and translating them into data requirements for source systems
• Designing and specifying ETL transformation rules for normalization, standardization, and enrichment
• Translating requirements into the data models of AFC compliance systems and providing functional support for data integration and ETL processes
• Defining functional test cases, test data, and target results, as well as testing and validating ETL transformations
• Functionally accepting implemented requirements

Requirements

• Consultants must be in social security liable employment
• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst with sound requirements and stakeholder management as well as workshop experience
• Profound knowledge in databases, data integration, and data modeling, especially entity-relationship models and source-to-target mappings
• Very good SQL skills as well as experience with interfaces, data flows, and ETL transformation rules
• Experience in process and data flow modeling (e.g., BPMN) as well as in functional ETL test management
• Certificates: IREB Foundation Level and ISTQB Foundation Level or comparable
