Senior Business Analyst

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst (m/f/d) for an exciting project at an established company. The position is designed to be very flexible with a 98% remote share and offers a duration of at least 12 months.

Your tasks include the comprehensive analysis and documentation of existing applications, business processes, and interfaces. You will coordinate technical details of Java/JSF applications with development teams and consolidate information from various areas. You will evaluate existing functions regarding their adoption, adaptation, or replacement.

A focus is on modeling business processes using BPMN and creating domain models. You will analyze interfaces, create business data mappings, and document business rules as well as special cases. The creation and coordination of features, stories, and acceptance criteria in common project management tools up to sprint readiness are among your core tasks. You will also support business testing, acceptance, and the corresponding documentation.

We expect demonstrable experience as a Business Analyst in complex IT projects with independent responsibility. Very good knowledge of requirements analysis, requirements management, and practical experience with relevant collaboration and project management tools are required. Experience with BPMN, domain models, and agile methods is essential. Practical knowledge of REST/OpenAPI and JSON interfaces as well as business data mappings is a prerequisite.

Experience in specialized industries, knowledge of programming languages and modern technologies, as well as experience with AI-supported analysis tools are advantageous. Very good German language skills are required.
