Senior Business Analyst - Sales Master Data, Customer & Contract Management

For our client in the banking sector in Zurich, we are looking for experienced Senior Business Analysts (Senior Expert) to support a strategic initiative in the areas of sales master data, customer and contract management, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analysis and documentation of existing sales master data, business processes, data flows, and system landscapes
• Development of target states and future processes in customer and contract management as well as in quotation catalog and reference data management
• Collection, consolidation, and specification of functional and technical requirements in close coordination with relevant stakeholders
• Modeling and optimization of complex business processes using BPMN and UML
• Identification of automation and digitalization potentials as well as sustainable process and system improvements
• Creation of business cases, effort estimations, risk analyses, and decision-making bases
• Support in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of suitable solutions, including tenders and proof-of-concepts
• Preparation and moderation of workshops as well as presentation of results at management level
• Close collaboration with sales, business, and IT departments as well as interdisciplinary and agile project teams

Requirements

• At least 12 years of professional experience, including several years of in-depth experience as a Senior Business Analyst in complex projects in the banking sector or comparable industries
• In-depth knowledge of sales processes, master data management, and customer and contract management
• Strong expertise in requirements engineering, business analysis, process optimization, and the development of strategic target states
• Solid experience in business process modeling with BPMN and UML
• Good understanding of modern IT systems, data structures, and complex interfaces
• Experience with agile working methods as well as Jira and Confluence
• Very good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and communication skills as well as experience in stakeholder management
• Knowledge of Siebel CRM, quotation catalog, and reference data management is an advantage
• Practical experience with AI tools in the context of business analysis or project implementation is an advantage
• German C2, English at least B1
