Senior Citrix Specialist for Building New Environment

Responsibilities

• Conception and setup of an additional Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environment, coupled with the replacement of VMware Horizon
• 2FA implementation based on Citrix Gateway for internal CVAD sessions
• Replacement of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure from Win10 to Win11
• Replacement of old server hardware for virtual clients with new hardware including NVIDIA graphics cards
• Installation, configuration, and optimization of the Citrix XenServer environment
• Troubleshooting of performance issues in the VDI and XenApp environment
• Incident management, error analysis, and resolution

• University degree or comparable knowledge from professional practice
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Windows client and server operating systems
• Many years of expertise with Citrix XenServer, Citrix Provisioning Services, and FSLogix knowledge, ideally Citrix Gateway know-how
• Many years of experience in Win10 and 11, as well as Windows Server operating systems
• NVIDIA vGPU knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness for a fixed-term employment is an advantage
• Goal-oriented way of working
• Self-motivated, stress-resistant team player
• Very good German language skills
