Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – Identity & Access Management

Project overview

For an established financial company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer specializing in Identity & Access Management (IAM). You will be part of a team that designs and operates Azure-based services, focusing on the optimization and automation of cloud identity management.

In this role, you will develop and implement automation solutions for managing cloud identities using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and APIs (Go). You will design and realize authentication and authorization flows based on OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect for Single Sign-On scenarios. Your tasks include configuring and optimizing Conditional Access policies, Enterprise Applications, and Administrative Units, as well as hardening the identity platform against security risks.

Important: We are looking for an IAM specialist with real in-depth expertise, not a cloud generalist. You must be able to independently develop and implement authentication and authorization concepts. This also includes creating documentation and training internal teams.

Requirements

Profound knowledge in cloud identity management, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and OpenID Connect. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and API development. Understanding of network security and best practices in the IAM field. Ability for conceptual work and knowledge transfer.
