Job description
Interim Senior Communications Advisor needed for the municipality of Epe to manage communications related to refugee reception and housing.
Project overview
As a temporary senior communications advisor, you will work on communications regarding the reception and housing of refugees in the municipality of Epe.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Advising at a strategic and tactical level on communication within the refugee program
- Executing communication and press relations for the program
- Further developing and executing the communication and participation approach, together with the project group, the executive communications advisor, and executives
- Identifying public sentiment in Epe regarding refugee reception and proactively incorporating this into advice and execution
- Completed communication education at a minimum HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a communications advisor at a government institution, supported by a concrete example or reference project
- Minimum 3 years of work experience initiating participation processes, supported by a concrete example or reference project
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with strategic environmental communication, supported by a concrete example or reference project
- Experience with communication advice for a refugee task force in the past 5 years is a plus
- Analytical, critical, and accurate, and able to work independently within a project team
- Environmentally sensitive and politically sensitive
