Senior Consultant IT Service Management / Fiscalization

For our client, we are currently looking for external support from an experienced Senior Consultant (m/f/d) in the area of IT Service Management and Fiscalization.

The goal of the project is the revision, stabilization, and optimization of fiscal processes and systems in the checkout environment. As the client uses EFSTA solutions in Germany, Austria, and Poland, the focus is on analyzing existing 'as-is' processes and developing a robust, cross-border operating concept. If you have extensive experience in IT Operations and in the POS/Retail environment, we look forward to your expertise!

In this role, you will act as the central point of contact for process design and the operational setup of fiscalization solutions. Your core tasks include:

Skills

• Duration: ASAP for 3 months + option to extend
• Location: Remote & in Hamburg (90/10)
• Utilization: 50 PT
• Process Analysis & Conception: Analysis of existing 'as-is' processes and responsibilities, identification of weaknesses (gap analysis), and development of efficient 'to-be' processes.
• Stakeholder Management: Close coordination of newly developed processes and concepts with all involved stakeholders.
• Lifecycle Management: Conception and planning of the installation and lifecycle management of software and fiscal hardware (especially TSE in Germany and HSM/RKSV components in Austria).
• Service Management & Operations: Design of concepts for monitoring and alerting, as well as establishment of robust incident and escalation management.
• Compliance & Legal: Development of processes for archiving, compliance controls, and legal registration and reporting processes.
• Deliverables (Project Results):
• Creation of an 'as-is'/gap analysis and definition of 'to-be' processes.
• Development of a RACI matrix and a compliance/control matrix.
• Delivery of a monitoring and incident concept, as well as lifecycle and archiving processes.
• Final, coordinated, and documented overall operating concept for DE, AT, and PL.

Requirements

• Relevant, multi-year senior experience in IT Service Management and IT Operations.
• Sound practical knowledge in process design and in classic ITIL disciplines (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
• Demonstrable experience in supporting or designing business-critical POS (Point of Sale), Retail, or comparable systems.
• Strong analytical skills and communication skills in dealing with various stakeholders.

• Experience with EFSTA / EFR solutions.
• Specific know-how in the area of fiscalization and the corresponding legal requirements: TSE / KassenSichV (Germany) as well as RKSV (Austria).
• Knowledge in international fiscalization and in regulatory IT processes.
• Know-how in the area of POS Operations.
