Seeking a Senior Consultant with hands-on experience in Schleupen billing processes and testing for a hybrid role in NRW, Germany. The position requires at least 80% utilization and involves operational testing, defect analysis, and collaboration with various departments.

For our client, we are filling the position on a freelance basis of a
Senior Consultant Schleupen – Billing & Testing
Responsibilities
- Hands-on testing of billing processes in Schleupen, especially interim, simulation, and annual billing
- Operational testing of new Schleupen functionalities, analysis of error patterns, and execution of retests and structured feedback
- Testing and validation of market communication and end-to-end processes, as well as ensuring stable, ideally automated billing runs
- Support with system hardening, test migrations, and the Schleupen Migration Workbench
- Close collaboration with business departments, process management, IT, and software providers on topics such as billing, receivables management, revenue accounting, and general ledger transfer
Requirements
System Landscape: Schleupen CS 3.0, SAP IS-U in parallel operation, and adjacent Salesforce and AWS

- Several years of operational experience with energy industry billing processes, ideally in the B2C environment
- Very good practical experience with Schleupen, especially in the billing environment
- Demonstrable hands-on experience in functional testing/UAT, test execution, error analysis, defect handling, and retesting
- Good knowledge of energy industry market communication and processes; SAP IS-U experience is an additional advantage
- Very good German and ability to work independently between business processes and the system
- Not a classic project manager or pure requirements consultant, but someone who gets into the system themselves and operationally tests billing processes.
- Seeking a technically strong utilities process specialist with real Schleupen experience, who can reproduce errors, understand causes, and quickly assess new functionalities reliably.
