Seeking a Senior Data Manager for a freelance mission focused on operational data governance, quality, compliance, and traceability of Data Products in a hybrid on-premise/cloud environment migrating to Azure.
Project overview
Our client is looking for a Senior Data Manager – Data Governance & Data Quality (M/F) for a freelance mission.
Within a Data & AI organization, the mission consists of ensuring the operational governance, quality, compliance, and traceability of Data Products in production, in a hybrid on-premise/cloud environment progressively migrating to Azure.
Senior experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality.
Skills required for the mission
- Lead operational data governance and administer Collibra workflows.
- Define, deploy, and supervise data quality controls on Databricks.
- Manage metadata, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and certification of Data Products.
- Supervise Data Contracts, SLAs, and data quality incident management.
- Implement Data Observability dashboards and monitor quality indicators.
- Ensure the application of governance policies, GDPR compliance, and sensitive data protection.
- Support Data & AI projects, particularly ML and GenAI, on governance issues.
- Lead quality committees and coordinate Data Governance, Data Product Owners, Data Modelers, and technical teams.
- Collibra: advanced proficiency in workflows, Business Glossary, metadata management, and Data Product certification.
- Azure Databricks & Unity Catalog: advanced expertise in permission management, classification, and metadata synchronization.
- Data Quality & Observability: proven experience in defining quality rules, pipeline monitoring, and incident management.
- Governance and GDPR compliance: experience in sensitive data classification, pseudonymization, traceability, and application of governance policies.
- Data Contracts, SLAs, and Data Lineage.
- Great Expectations and Delta Live Tables Expectations.
- Data Mesh, Data Products, and federated governance.
- Hybrid on-premise/cloud environments and migration to Azure.
- Cloudera, Hive, and Dataiku (desired).
- Power BI, Tableau, and Azure Data Factory (appreciated).
- Governance of Machine Learning and GenAI projects.
