Senior Enterprise Security Architect - Citrix & Zscaler

Project overview

For our industrial client, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Security Architect to evaluate the use of Zscaler ZPA in a Citrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the existing Citrix, Zscaler, network, and remote access architecture
• Evaluation of the migration from Palo Alto GlobalProtect to Zscaler ZPA
• Analysis of the use of ZPA on virtual Citrix desktops
• Evaluation of the impact on security, operations, performance, and user experience
• Development and comparison of possible target architectures
• Creation of a recommendation for action, including a target state
• Preparation of a management-ready decision paper

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the design and evaluation of enterprise infrastructures
• Profound knowledge in the area of Citrix Virtual Desktop / Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Practical experience with Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) and Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA)
• Experience with Zero Trust architectures and modern access concepts
• Knowledge in the areas of network segmentation, data center security, and identity-based access control
• Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and remote access solutions is an advantage
• Experience in creating architecture concepts, strategy papers, and decision templates for management and IT leadership
