Project Announcement: Senior Expert Infrastructure / Cloud Operations

For a demanding cloud infrastructure project, we are looking for an experienced expert with a focus on Python development, API implementation, and network automation. The goal is to support stable and secure platform operations as well as the optimization of existing infrastructure processes.

Responsibilities

• Development with Python and implementation of own APIs with FastAPI
• Integration of third-party interfaces and external services
• Automation of network components and infrastructure processes
• Technical documentation and further development of existing solutions
• Use of modern DevOps and container technologies

Framework Conditions

Remote project with quarterly on-site appointments

On-call duty required

Commitment according to the Law on Secrecy and § 53 BDSG

Willingness for security screening Ü2 (sabotage and secrecy protection)

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python development
• Sound hands-on experience with FastAPI and REST APIs
• Knowledge of Nautobot, HashiCorp Vault, and Podman
• Experience with IaC, GitOps, and CI/CD
• Know-how in network, storage, and compute infrastructures
• Knowledge of Cisco, F5 (LTM, F5OS, VELOS) or Check Point (Maestro, VSX, MDS) is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills

Project details

11/23/2026 - 03/31/2027, with potential extension

Assignment: 100% Remote possible, quarterly on-site appointments nationwide

Utilization: Minimum 60%, ideally full-time
