Senior Expert / Technical & Functional Specialist Insurance Platform

Project overview

For a demanding project at an established insurance company, we are looking for an experienced Senior Expert / Technical & Functional Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional and technical support and further development of a modern insurance platform and will act as a central interface between IT and business departments.

Your tasks include the analysis, conception, and implementation of functional and technical requirements, advising business departments on platform functionalities, and optimizing existing business processes. You will support the integration of the platform into existing system landscapes, analyze and resolve technical and functional issues, and accompany tests, releases, and quality assurance measures. Close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and various business departments is essential.

We expect several years of experience with modern insurance platforms, sound technical and functional knowledge of system architectures, as well as experience with configuration, interfaces, and system integration. A very good understanding of insurance processes and their technical representation is required. You have a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and experience in collaborating with various stakeholders. Experience in the Swiss insurance environment is an advantage.

The position is limited to 9+ months with a workload of 60-80% and starts on January 1, 2026. The location is Zurich.
