Senior Adcubum Syrius Expert - Technical & Functional Specialist

For our client, an established company in the Swiss insurance environment based in the greater Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced Senior Adcubum Syrius Expert/Technical & Functional Specialist to support a demanding IT project.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility as a technical and functional expert for the Adcubum Syrius platform with a focus on stability, further development, and optimization.
• Analysis of functional requirements and their translation into technical and functional specifications.
• Configuration, parameterization, and further development of Syrius modules, rule sets, and business processes.
• Analysis and resolution of complex technical and functional problems, including root cause analyses.
• Support with system integrations, interfaces, releases, migrations, and implementation projects.
• Execution and support of functional, integration, and regression tests, as well as quality assurance.
• Close collaboration with business departments, business analysts, software developers, solution architects, and external service providers.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, functional specifications, and operational processes.

Requirements

Your Personal Strengths

• Several years of experience as a Senior Application Specialist, Technical Consultant, Functional Specialist, or Business Consultant in the Adcubum Syrius environment.
• Profound technical and functional knowledge of the Adcubum Syrius platform, especially in configuration, parameterization, integration, and application support.
• Good knowledge of business processes in the Swiss health and accident insurance sector, ideally KVG, VVG, and/or UVG.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, process optimization, and solution design.
• Good technical understanding of SQL, databases, APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Experience in application lifecycle management, incident management, testing, and release management.
• Ability to independently analyze, structure, and translate complex functional requirements into implementable solutions.
• Very good German skills and good English skills.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
• High degree of independence, initiative, and sense of responsibility.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully mediate between business departments and IT.
