Job description
Develop a new specialist application for police administration and reporting platforms, replacing two existing federal systems. Work with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular in an agile Scrum team.
Responsibilities
- As a full-stack developer, you will develop a new specialist application for police administration and reporting platforms. It will replace two existing federal systems.
- You will implement the backend and frontend with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- You will work in an existing agile Scrum team with a Product Owner and Scrum Master and deliver your results after sprint planning.
- You will write automated tests, for example with Cypress.
- You will be involved in migration, further development, and architecture topics and will also participate in short-term meetings and workshops on-site.
Requirements
What we offer you
- Several years of experience (min. 5 years) in development with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework
- Good knowledge of Angular (version 21 or higher)
- Experience with REST and SOAP interfaces
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle
- Experience with testing frameworks (Cypress) and in the DevOps environment
- Experience in agile projects (Scrum)
- Very good German (written and spoken) (min. C1)
- Willingness to work on-site in Bern at least 2 days per week
- An exciting, long-term project (5 years) with a federal authority
- Participation in a major new development with modern technology
