Senior Housing Policy Advisor (interim)

Project overview

The senior housing policy advisor strengthens the municipality's Housing cluster.

Profile of the suited interim professional:

• Analyzing opportunities and bottlenecks in the housing market
• Developing housing policy around themes such as affordability, suitable housing types, grid congestion, and liveability
• Assessing housing development plans and initiatives
• Advising the executive, management, college, and council on strategic housing issues
• Drafting, monitoring, and adjusting performance agreements with housing associations
• Maintaining contacts with housing associations, project developers, governments, and tenant representatives
• Collaborating with colleagues from the Spatial Planning team and other internal and external partners
• At least a completed HBO bachelor's degree
• 5 years or more of experience as a housing/public housing policy officer within a municipal organization
• Experience with at least two of the following topics: performance agreements, regional cooperation, public housing programs, housing programs, and housing regulations
• Knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Housing Control Strengthening Act, the Housing Act, the Housing Association Act, and the Environment and Planning Act
• Sharply developed sense of political-administrative relations
• Excellent communication skills
