Senior IAM Engineer

Responsibilities

For our client, we are looking for an experienced individual for the operation and further development of a modern Identity & Access Management landscape. The focus is on the Omada Identity Cloud platform in a complex SAP and non-SAP environment.

• Ensure stable operation and further development of the IAM/IAG platform, especially for provisioning and account management.
• Process incidents and support requests, as well as implement sustainable bug fixes, automations, and process improvements.
• Design and implement technical integrations, interfaces, connectors, and API connections.
• Evaluate future IAM/IAG components and embed them architecturally, as well as help shape security standards such as Zero Trust and Least Privilege.
• Elicit and prioritize requirements with IT and business, and support them from specification to productive rollout.
• Work closely with Product Owner, Architecture, and suppliers, as well as provide technical support to less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in a comparable role within a complex IAM environment.
• Sound knowledge of authorization management, role models, identity governance, and IAM security principles.
• Experience in operating and further developing business-critical platforms, as well as in structured incident and support management.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as an independent, solution-oriented way of working.
• Very good German skills and the ability to communicate in English in everyday work.
• Experience with Omada, SailPoint, One Identity, Microsoft Identity Manager, or comparable IAM solutions. (Advantageous)
• Knowledge in the integration of Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange, and SAP. (Advantageous)
• Practice with PowerShell, REST APIs, and SQL for automation and technical integrations. (Advantageous)
• Experience with Privileged Access Management, Cloud Governance, and the implementation of Zero Trust and Least Privilege. (Advantageous)
