Senior IAM Engineer – Keycloak, OIDC, Entra ID / AD

Project overview

For our client, we are looking for a Senior Keycloak expert for the following tasks as soon as possible.

Maintenance and further development of identity and master data connections (Test and Prod)

Setup of new tenants including necessary network adjustments

Role Profile

• OIDC Identity Provider for Entra ID
• LDAP User Federation for AD
• local user directory
• Realm configuration including Clients, Organizations, User Profile, Authentication Flows, Password Policies, Account Console, etc.
• Coordination with the ISC
• Connection of AD or Entra ID tenants
• if applicable, import of user lists
• Adaptation of existing tenant configurations including necessary migrations of users existing in Keycloak
• Proactive checking and timely adoption of new Keycloak major and minor versions in coordination with technical operations (Materna)
• Execution of technical function tests (including tests of network connections) and support of acceptance tests
• CVE monitoring and, if applicable, application of mitigations in coordination with technical operations (Materna)
• Analysis and handling of errors in the context of authentication and master data provisioning
• Handling of GDPR requests and topics
• Optional creation, maintenance, and further development of Keycloak Extensions
• Very good Keycloak know-how
• Very good knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, 2FA with TOTP and FIDO2 Passkeys
• Very good knowledge in security as well as in handling CVEs
• Good knowledge in Active Directory, Entra ID
• Knowledge of network structures and connections
