We are looking for a true expert in infrastructure architecture, capable of designing and securing complex, highly available systems.

As part of a strategic program for the transformation and evolution of its infrastructures, a major player in the financial sector is strengthening its IT architecture team.

The environment is particularly demanding: critical systems, high availability, resilience, security, performance, and strong regulatory constraints.

YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Infrastructure Architect, you will be the technical referent for structuring projects and responsible for the consistency of deployed architectures.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve complex systems, virtualization, and storage architectures.

Define highly available, resilient, distributed, and secure architectures.

Lead technological choices and ensure their alignment with IT strategy.

Carry out architecture studies, impact analyses, technical scenarios, and POCs.

Define technical standards and infrastructure security principles.

Support technical teams in architectural choices and IS evolutions.

Write and defend your proposals during architecture committees.

EXPECTED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Windows Server / Active Directory: in-depth expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem.

VMware / VCF: solid experience with virtualization architectures and associated infrastructures.

Linux / Red Hat: mastery of complex system architectures.

Storage & Backup: mastery of architectures, resilience, and data protection mechanisms.

Infrastructure Security: mastery of general security architectures.

High Availability / Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity: significant experience in critical environments.

Distributed Systems and Real-Time Systems: expertise in design and architecture.

Cross-functional Architecture: ability to work across all technical layers of the IS.

Profile Sought

We are looking for an experienced architect, not a systems administrator looking to move into architecture.

You must:

Have significant experience in designing complex infrastructure architectures.

Have previously worked on critical systems requiring very high availability.

Master Windows / Active Directory, VMware, and Linux environments.

Be able to produce complete, structured, and well-argued architecture documents.

Be able to present, explain, and defend your technical directions to architects and IT managers.

Possess excellent analytical, formalization, and communication skills.

Be perfectly fluent in French, both written and spoken, and have professional English skills.

Experience in the banking, financial, payments, or critical infrastructure sectors will be a real asset.
