Project overview

For a project in the transport and logistics sector, a Senior IT Consultant for mobile SAP maintenance solutions is sought. Service provision will be predominantly remote with occasional on-site workshops. The focus will be on adapting mobile applications to SAP S/4HANA and designing Fiori-based interfaces for maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

Deployment regulation according to project documents: 209 total on-site days, of which 27 are on-site days and 182 are remote days (mathematically 87.08% remote). The Freelancermap deployment type is rounded up to the next highest available remote level (100%); on-site days remain binding.

Contract Type: Freelance. Independent project support on a fee basis; no employee leasing and no permanent employment.

• Gather and evaluate requirements in the SAP PM/CS environment for mobile maintenance processes
• Implement mobile applications with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, BTP Mobile Services, and SSAM
• Provide Fiori tiles, launchpad content, and catalog/authorization structures
• Connect resource and deployment planning with SAP MRS and integrate SAP FSM as needed
• Analyze errors
• M1: Demonstrable project experience in the SAP system landscape, particularly in the PM (Maintenance), MM, PP, and HCM modules under SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP
• M2: Demonstrable experience in developing and customizing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications for mobile devices in the maintenance environment, including responsive and touch-optimized UI design and integration
• M3: Demonstrable experience in adapting and maintaining mobile applications for new or changed SAP S/4HANA environments (e.g., release changes, system conversions, customizing or data model changes) including analysis of potential impacts
• S2: Knowledge in technical integration and migration of SAP components (e.g., MDG, ChaRM, SolMan) (Weighting: 15%)
• S3: Experience in project management and requirements analysis using Jira and Confluence, and evaluation using analysis tools (specifically Power BI) (Weighting: 10%)
• S4: Experience in test and quality management as well as requirements management according to IREB or ISTQB (Weighting: 10%)
• S5: Experience with project management methodologies (agile and classic, e.g., Scrum, PRINCE2, Waterfall) (Weighting: 10%)
• S6: Demonstrable knowledge in SAP MRS (Multiresource Scheduling) including deployment and resource planning (planning table) in connection with maintenance processes from SAP PM/CS (Weighting: 10%)
• S7: Knowledge in SAP FSM or FSM Mobile (SAP Field Service Management) including integration into S/4HANA Service Management or PM/CS (Weighting: 10%)
