Senior IT Provider Manager with Avaloq Focus

Project overview

For an established financial services company, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Provider Manager (m/f/d) with a focus on Avaloq and IT Operations. You will act as a technical interface between internal IT and external service providers, actively supporting both strategic and operational topics.

Your responsibilities include managing the ongoing application operations in the outsourcing environment, daily operational business including ticket management and SLA monitoring, as well as supporting incident, problem, and change management processes. You will evaluate and coordinate change requests and release changes on the Avaloq platform, manage the service delivery of external service providers, and conduct service meetings and provider reviews.

Furthermore, you will review service provider reports and audit reports, identify IT and outsourcing risks, and support ongoing transformation and infrastructure projects in the Avaloq environment.

We expect several years of experience in IT outsourcing management or IT service management, preferably in the banking or financial services sector. Profound knowledge of Avaloq, ideally in a sourcing context, is required. You should have experience in operating business-critical applications, in incident and change management, and in managing external service providers. Understanding of IT risk management and governance topics, as well as knowledge of modern integration and data platforms, are advantageous.

The commitment is full-time, limited until mid-2027 with an option for extension. The location is Frankfurt am Main; after onboarding, a remote component is possible by arrangement. We are looking for a freelancer who not only coordinates but also provides operational support and takes responsibility.
