Senior Java Full Stack Developer (Spring Boot + React/Angular)

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join an international technology team developing high-performance applications for the financial services industry.

The team builds and maintains solutions supporting foreign exchange (FX) operations, including trade execution, order management, risk management, and financial transaction processing.

You will work in a global, collaborative environment alongside engineering teams across Europe, Asia, and North America, contributing to business-critical systems used by institutional clients worldwide.

The technology landscape is based on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, React, Angular, and SQL databases, with a strong focus on scalability, performance, automation, and continuous delivery.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Build and enhance microservices-based systems supporting high-volume financial transactions.
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot, as well as frontend components using React or Angular.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Sybase.
• Participate in architectural decisions and system modernization initiatives.
• Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, security, and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Take end-to-end ownership of developed solutions, including production support.
• Collaborate with international development teams and business stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile environment with frequent production releases.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of commercial experience in software engineering, preferably in a Full Stack role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance, and secure applications.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automated testing.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, investment banking, trading platforms, or FinTech.
• Knowledge of FX markets or financial transaction processing.
• Experience with Node.js, Golang, or Ruby.
• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
• Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale microservices architectures.
