• Predominantly remote (>80%). On-site as needed (e.g., workshops, personal introduction)
• A service is sought in IT license and contract management for consulting and operational support of the sub-project "Licenses", including requirements management, license procurement, and transfer of existing license pools.
• The scope of services includes ensuring license and contract compliance, maintaining and managing licenses, contracts, and systems, as well as coordinating the deployed license and contract management tools. Furthermore, analyses and optimizations of license models, contracts, and processes are expected, including expert support in contract negotiations and cost optimization measures.

• Consulting and operational support for the sub-project "Licenses"
• Clarification of IT license requirements from business departments and the FIT4B project
• Management of license procurement or the transfer of existing licenses from an IT service provider
• Ensuring compliance (internal and external regulations) regarding license, maintenance, and operating contracts for hardware, software, and cloud providers, as well as IT service providers
• Maintenance and management of licenses, contracts, and associated data, as well as corresponding Jira tickets
• System coordination of the deployed license management and contract management software, clarification of interface issues for license metering
• Analysis and optimization of license models and contracts, as well as recommendations for cost optimization
• Analysis and optimization of license processes
• Expert support in contract negotiations
• Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field
• At least three years of experience in IT license and IT contract management, as well as IT procurement, ideally in the energy sector
• Knowledge of licenses for server/infrastructure, databases, and SaaS/cloud solutions
• Experience with license processes and license metering, including for data center applications and databases
• Knowledge of common license models (incl. cloud) and license optimization Confident handling and in-depth knowledge of at least one marketable license management/SAM tool (Raynet, Flexera, USU, Snow, Matrix42, etc.)
• Ability to familiarize oneself with and reliably oversee complex contract structures, risks, and deadlines
• Basic knowledge of IT law and data protection is desirable
• Fluent German language skills, very good English language skills
• Structured, independent way of working combined with strong written and verbal communication skills
