Job description
Seeking a Senior Linux Solution Architect to implement and manage Red Hat Satellite, modernize CI/CD pipelines (potentially migrating from Jenkins to GitHub Actions), and automate build infrastructure using containerized solutions.
Project overview
+ Introduction and implementation of Red Hat Satellite+ Support and further development of existing CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins -> Modernization of existing CI/CD pipelines, possibly migration from Jenkins to GitHub Actions+ Modernization and automation of the existing build infrastructure+ Migration of existing, statically installed build nodes to container-based solutions with Docker or Podman to reduce manual effort and automate build processes+ Implementation of automation solutions and execution of automated software tests (e.g., with pytest) Requirements: + Sound experience with Red Hat Satellite+ Sound experience with CI/CD pipelines (Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery) as well as in central infrastructure and package management (management of software packages, versions, and updates within a server fleet)+ Good knowledge of automation solutions and release management processes+ Experience with automated software tests+ Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work independently+ Experience with Python-based test automation (e.g., pytest), ideally evident in the profile+ Good German and English skills Additional Information: Project No.: 1084944 Job Type: Location: Start: 09.11.2026 Duration: 6 months
