Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant – Logistics & Warehouse Management

Project overview

For a new implementation project in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, we are looking for an experienced freelance consultant with a focus on logistics and warehouse management.

The focus is on the practical implementation of Business Central. We are not looking for a pure concept consultant, but a hands-on expert who independently implements requirements, configures the system, and actively participates in the technical implementation.

Responsibilities

Implementation and configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in the area of logistics and warehouse management

Mapping and optimization of warehouse, inventory, and materials management processes

Implementation of requirements in the area of warehouse accounting

Requirements engineering and coordination with business departments

Customizing and development of individual adjustments

Contribution of best practices and evaluation of possible solution approaches

Use of AI-supported development tools and existing AI agents

Requirements

Sound project experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Very good knowledge in logistics, warehouse management, and warehouse accounting

Practical experience with Business Central implementation projects

Hands-on experience in configuration, customizing, and development

Experience in requirements engineering

Knowledge of GitHub Copilot, Visual Studio Code, and Azure DevOps, or willingness to independently familiarize yourself with them

Independent, pragmatic, and team-oriented way of working

Desirable:

At least 5 years of experience in the logistics environment

Experience with general cargo, bulk goods, transport services, or maritime logistics

Practical experience with AI-supported development processes
