Responsibilities

• Part 1 (50%): Onshore cable installation, cross-border offshore hub
• Part 2 (50%): Onshore cable installation, connection offshore wind farm 1 GW
• In both parts: technical supervision of cable laying
• Coordination of interfaces with neighboring packages and suppliers
• Creation and review of specifications and installation concepts
• Analysis of risks, schedule dependencies, and deviations
• Status reports, documentation on quality and compliance, lessons learned

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Offshore or Subsea Engineering, or comparable
• Minimum 5 years of onshore cable installation experience, technical or execution
• Demonstrable experience with pulling cables into cable ducts
• Minimum 2 years working for a transmission system operator or asset owner
• Experience with high-voltage cables, EPCI contracts, and interfaces
• Knowledge of German construction law and approval procedures
• English at C1 level, confident in the environment of multiple contractors

Our client is a leading transmission system operator and is consistently expanding the high-voltage grid for the energy transition. New routes and facilities are being created in large direct current projects. As Senior Package Manager, you will coordinate the onshore cable installation in two offshore grid connections and prepare technical decisions for the client.
