Job description
As a senior planning lawyer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the municipality's environmental plan. You will advise on and guide complex changes, represent the municipality in legal proceedings, and coach junior colleagues.

As a senior planning lawyer, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the municipality's environmental plan.
Profile of the suited interim professional:
- Developing the environmental plan as part of the broader policy cycle
- Supporting management and colleagues with advice on the environmental plan and BOPA's (Building and Public Space Permits)
- Guiding complex environmental plan changes and BOPA's, including representation before the administrative judge
- Maintaining control over decision-making on complex initiatives and testing against legal, regulatory, and policy frameworks
- Coaching fellow lawyers and spatial planners within the team
- Completed university education in administrative law
- Relevant professional experience, such as a position as a planning lawyer or legal advisor within the spatial sector
- Knowledge of and experience with environmental law and the Environmental Protection Act in practice
- Strong oral and written communication skills
