Job description

Seeking an experienced Senior Requirements Engineer/Business Analyst for a long-term project in Life Sciences and Healthcare, focusing on integrating laboratory and logistics systems.

Project overview

For a globally leading company in Life Sciences and Healthcare, we are looking for an experienced Senior Requirements Engineer / Business Analyst for long-term project support.

Responsibilities

You will conduct requirements elicitation through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analyses, collaborating with laboratory, logistics, and integration teams. You will model end-to-end material and information flows across frontend portals, laboratory systems, middleware, and backend logistics, including exception cases and system transitions. You will translate business requirements into clear, prioritized, and testable functional, interface, and non-functional requirements with measurable acceptance criteria.

You will coordinate requirements between business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, developers, and QA teams, resolving gaps, contradictions, and cross-system dependencies. You will establish and maintain requirement baselines and traceability, linking business processes, requirements, implementation tickets, and test cases.

Requirements

At least 5 years of practical experience in Requirements Engineering or Business Analysis in complex enterprise IT projects with multiple integrated systems. Proven experience in eliciting and specifying requirements for laboratory, logistics, or comparable operational workflows. Strong skills in process modeling with BPMN or equivalent techniques. Practical understanding of APIs and asynchronous, event-driven integration patterns. Ability to define measurable acceptance criteria and structured specifications. Experience with requirements management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

Business fluent in English; German B1 or higher. Residency in Germany, ideally near Munich.
