Senior Salesforce Solution Architect / Integration Lead

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Solution Architect and Integration Lead for a challenging project in the payments sector. You will act as a technical leader to design and coordinate the modernization of merchant onboarding processes.

In the initial concept phase (4-5 months), you will analyze and further develop the existing Salesforce architecture. You will design the end-to-end integration between Salesforce, middleware systems, and payment backends. You will define API contacts, data flows, status models, and cross-system case tracking. You will delineate Salesforce workflows from external processor orchestration and consider product/pricing data as well as AML/KYC processes. You will translate the target concept into technical work packages and an implementation roadmap.

In the subsequent implementation phase, you will coordinate the technical execution with IT teams and development partners, conduct design reviews, and support integration testing.

You bring 8-10+ years of Salesforce experience, including several years as a Solution or Technical Architect. You have in-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, data models, Flows, and APIs. Solid experience with Enterprise Integration, REST APIs, Event-driven Architecture, and MuleSoft is required. You have demonstrably implemented complex system landscapes and external workflow orchestration and technically managed multiple development teams.

Experience in Payments, Banking, or Financial Services, knowledge of Camunda, Kafka, Kong API Gateway, and AWS, as well as Salesforce Architect certifications, are advantageous.
