The service is provided remotely; Frankfurt am Main is listed as the project location. The service must be performed in Germany (Onshore), with on-site appointments possible in exceptional cases. Freelancers welcome, all must-haves met!

We are looking for an SAP Developer for the maintenance of vehicles and components. The focus is on maintenance, further development, and integration of SAP solutions with integrated vehicle target documentation as well as the design of functional application architectures. Work will be done in sprints and classically using Waterfall.

• Analysis of current systems, applications, and architectures and assessment of their suitability for the target architecture
• Programming, implementation, and customizing of technical components including interfaces, modules, and databases according to the client's standards
• Participation in planning, design, and implementation of software projects
• Conception and development of user-centric web applications based on cloud technologies
• Conception of functional interfaces between applications and processes
• Implementation of design concepts into prototypes and consultation on technical aspects of implementation
• Building database structures and interfaces between databases and systems
• Testing, debugging, and error correction from test phases
• Documentation of technical designs, system documentation, and creation of an operations and development manual
• Creation of delivery packages and verification of technical solutions for future viability
• Participation in code reviews and technical meetings with regular updates to project management
• Very good knowledge of the SAP system landscape, especially in the area of vehicle maintenance at a transport or mobility company, experience level in years (> 3 years experience)
• Very good knowledge in development with SAP ABAP and ABAP OO, experience level in years (> 3 years experience)
• Current knowledge in SAP interface technologies and connections, especially the AAR interface, number of references 3
• Very good practical experience in SAP modules MM, PM, and possibly adjacent modules, experience level in years (> 3 years experience)
• Practical experience in vehicle target documentation, experience level in years (> 3 years experience)
• German and English at an expert level (C1)
