Project Context:

The goal of this transformation project is the end-to-end digitization, harmonization, and optimization of global quality management processes (QM) through the implementation of innovative SAP S/4HANA QM solutions.

The project connects the areas of quality assurance, manufacturing (especially industrial customer-specific production), and IT. A significant increase in process quality and transparency is aimed for by building a future-proof system architecture and seamless integration into the operational adjacent modules.

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA QM Consultant to digitize, harmonize, and optimize global quality management processes, as well as to integrate modern QM solutions into the existing system landscape, taking into account the requirements from quality assurance, manufacturing, and IT.

Module Integration & System Architecture:

• QM & Industry Expertise: Several years of experience in quality management, ideally in the demanding environment of industrial customer-specific production.
• SAP S/4HANA Knowledge: Profound customizing and integration know-how in SAP QM, as well as a good understanding of adjacent modules (SD, PS, MM, CO).
• Methodological Competence: Experience in requirements engineering (creation of structured IT specifications) and initial exposure to SAP Fiori.
• Languages: German and English
• Process Analysis & Design: Holistic recording, optimization, and digitization of all quality-relevant workflows – starting from goods receipt, through manufacturing-related inspections, to complaint management.
• Error & Cause Management: Continuous further development and systematization of tools for error recording, cause analysis, and resolution.
• Integrated Logistics Chain: Ensuring seamless technical and process integration of SAP QM into the adjacent core modules: SD (Sales and Distribution / customer complaints, certificates of analysis), PS (Project System / milestones, quality-relevant project inspections), MM (Materials Management / goods receipt inspection, supplier evaluation), CO (Controlling / quality costs, error cost controlling).
• Document Management: Building and integrating structured quality document management in the S/4HANA standard.

• Requirements Engineering: Precise translation of business QM requirements into viable technical SAP concepts (blueprints).
• Implementation Control: Control of technical implementation, as well as preparation and execution of system rollouts in S/4HANA.
• Modern UX Design: Evaluation and gradual introduction of modern SAP Fiori apps in the QM environment to increase user-friendliness.
• KPI System: Building and continuous further development of a meaningful quality controlling system to provide relevant QM KPIs for management.
• Key User Enablement: Conception and execution of targeted training measures for key users.
• Interface Moderation: Leading workshops at the interface between business (QM department) and IT to promote mutual system understanding.
