Senior SAP S/4HANA Project Manager

Project overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Project Manager to lead complex SAP projects in the Life Sciences sector. This role offers the opportunity to lead challenging end-to-end implementations, demonstrating your project management expertise.

The position is designed as a B2B freelancer contract for at least 6 months and offers flexible remote work with occasional on-site appointments. The location is Western Europe with a focus on a central hub location.

As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the complete project execution from planning through implementation to go-live. Your tasks include developing detailed project plans, proactive risk management, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring high governance standards. You will report regularly to senior stakeholders and drive project progress while actively addressing challenges.

We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in leading comprehensive SAP project implementations. Ideally, you bring experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations. It is important that your experience covers complete project life cycles – not just smaller enhancements or change requests.

Essential requirements are fluent English, excellent communication skills in speaking and writing, strong leadership skills, and proven abilities in project execution and stakeholder management. You should be able to effectively coordinate and communicate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management.
