Senior SAP Transformation Project Manager, RISE / S/4HANA, Banking, Vienna hybrid

A large financial services group in Central Europe is migrating its SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Private Edition (RISE with SAP) in two waves:

• HR landscape (live since early 2026): selective data migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA and move to RISE. You will take over the project in an orderly handover and lead it to go-live.
• Remaining SAP landscape (start Q1 2027): You will prepare and build up the second RISE wave, including coordination with SAP and implementation partners.

Responsibilities

• Take over the ongoing HR project: assess status, plan, risks, and budget in the first weeks and ensure continuity with the team and partners
• Hands-on overall management: planning, scope, budget, risks, dependencies, and quality across trial migrations, test cycles, cutover, and hypercare
• Preparation of the second wave: readiness, scope, and roadmap, onboarding of implementation partners, governance, and project organization
• Central interface to SAP (incl. SAP Enterprise Cloud Services), system integrators, internal IT, business departments, and HR
• Steering committees and reporting to senior management
• Anchor regulatory, data protection, and security requirements of a regulated financial institution in the plan

• Several years of experience as a project manager for large SAP projects, including responsibility for at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA transformation
• Strong expertise in planning, risk and budget control, partner and stakeholder management up to board level
• Experience in taking over or stabilizing an ongoing project
• Fluent English
• Advantageous: RISE / Private Cloud Edition, Selective Data Transition (SAP DMLT, SNP, Natuvion or similar), SAP HCM, banking or regulated industry, German
