Senior Software Developer – Mission Planning & Advanced Systems

Project overview

We are now looking for a senior software developer for a qualified consulting assignment with our client in the defense industry. The assignment is technically advanced and aimed at those who want to work with robust, performance-critical software in systems where quality, precision, and reliability are crucial.

You will be an important part of an experienced and agile development team that further develops a world-leading long-range system, where your contribution directly impacts both technical development and the project's success.

About the assignment

The assignment includes software development of advanced missile and Mission Planning systems. A central part of the work is the further development of a mission planning system that faces extensive upgrades regarding performance, autonomy, and handling of large and complex datasets.

The system places very high demands on accuracy, modularity, and technical precision. The work is therefore both complex and developing, with a strong focus on sustainable design and technical innovation.

As a consultant, you participate throughout the entire development cycle and work with, among other things:

System work and requirements management

Design and software architecture

Implementation in performance-critical environments

Testing, verification, and troubleshooting

Delivery and further development in close collaboration with the team

The work covers several levels in the system – from hardware-close software to application logic and user interfaces – and is conducted according to agile working methods.

Requirements

Meritorious:

Experience with Ada

Experience with CUDA
