Senior Software Developer .NET / SQL Server

Project overview

Description

For our client in the banking sector, we are looking for an experienced software developer with a focus on C#/.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. You will support the migration of existing .NET services to .NET 10 and take over the maintenance, further development, and optimization of business-critical applications. The technology environment also includes Python, SSIS, SSRS, and DevExpress XAF.

• Support for the migration of existing .NET services to .NET 10
• Maintenance and extension of existing business logic in C#, T-SQL, and Python
• Maintenance and further development of existing .NET projects
• Development of new SSIS packages to implement business requirements
• Maintenance and extension of existing SSRS reports
• Development of frontend applications with C# and .NET WinForms
• Analysis and optimization of slow database queries and program code
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Participation in the agile development process according to Scrum

Requirements

• Many years of experience in software development at an expert level, corresponding to approximately 8-12 years
• Extensive experience in development with C# and .NET
• Sound knowledge of T-SQL and server-side development on Microsoft SQL Server 2016
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Extensive experience in development with .NET WinForms
• Experience with the DevExpress XAF Framework
• Knowledge of Python for maintenance and extension of existing business logic
• Experience with agile software development processes and Scrum
• German and English language skills at least at level C1
