Responsibilities

• Conception and complete setup of a mobile test automation platform for Android and iOS
• Definition of the test automation strategy with development, architecture, and quality assurance
• Selection and implementation of suitable frameworks, structures, and best practices
• Development and expansion of automated end-to-end and regression tests
• Integration of test automation into existing CI/CD, build, and release processes
• Connection of BrowserStack for automated tests on real mobile devices
• Setup of reporting, logging, and error analysis mechanisms
• Analysis of test results and technical support for error identification
• Consultation on testability and quality assurance of Flutter-based mobile applications
• Documentation of the automation solution and knowledge transfer to internal teams

Requirements

My advantages:

• Sound experience in test automation of native mobile apps for Android and iOS
• Proven Greenfield setup of mobile test automation up to productive operation
• Extensive practical experience with Appium, Robot Framework, and BrowserStack
• Experience with automated end-to-end, system, and regression tests
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Sound understanding of mobile app architectures and technical components
• Good knowledge in at least one programming language and experience with Git
• Valid ISTQB certification / Senior or Lead profile
• Ideally experience with GitLab Runner, Jira/Xray or imbus TestBench
• Ideally project experience in the banking, insurance, or financial services sector
• Greenfield project with complete creative freedom for mobile test automation
• Technical focus on Appium, Robot Framework, BrowserStack, and CI/CD
• Sustainable development of a scalable, maintainable, and release-integrated test solution
