Job description
The role involves handling installation, configuration, and administration tasks for IT workstations, network connectivity, and user permissions, with a focus on test automation tools and communication systems.
Responsibilities
- Processing installation, configuration, and administration tasks in the environment of IT workstations, network connection, and user permissions
- Participation in the integration and configuration of Vector CANoe, vTestStudio, Wireshark, Polarion, and other tools
- Processing configuration tasks in the environment of logging and analysis tools, middleware, drivers, and database components
- Performing technical testing, analysis, and support activities related to the communication between workstations, servers, test automation, and LST lab subsystems
- Maintaining and processing technical documentation for hardware, software, licenses, and configurations
- Analyzing and resolving technical faults, as well as carrying out troubleshooting and optimization measures within the supported system and test environment
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Traffic Engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of experience with test automation frameworks as well as Vector CANoe software/hardware
- Experience in configuring Vector tools for LST/SCI communication, including iCANoe RaSTA Binding
- Know-how in integrating Vector CANoe with ClearSY ETCS onboard component, ATO & 3D visualization
- Practical experience with Vector CAPL/vTestStudio in the LST area, as well as installation/analysis using Wireshark
- Project experience with CANalyzer/vTestStudio; Python skills for module integration into automation frameworks
- Knowledge of IT security in the context of firewalls & routers; sound knowledge of IP network protocols
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
