Senior UX Researcher & Designer – Figma

Project overview

An international energy company is seeking an experienced Senior UX Researcher & Designer for its Portals & Platform product line. In this role, you will bring the user perspective to the design and further development of digital platforms, working across all phases from discovery, research, interaction design to validation.

The product line offers digital services for external customers and service providers, with the aim of creating understandable and seamless user experiences for various stakeholders in the energy market.

Responsibilities

You will work in a diverse, knowledge-oriented team at the interface between technology and the energy transition. Expertise in User-Centered Design, Design Thinking, Information Architecture, and Figma is required.

• Definition and validation of the user experience across multiple platforms, including customer-facing portals, developer and API platforms, as well as internal back-office systems
• Leading UX research activities and documenting findings
• Preparation and moderation of workshops on functional frameworks, ideation, and co-design with stakeholders
• Capturing user needs and pain points through appropriate research methods such as interviews, usability tests, and surveys
• Analyzing user behavior and website performance with tools like Matomo and heatmaps
• Creating personas and experience maps based on user research
• Defining suitable interaction models and evaluating their success based on measurable criteria
• Identifying business processes and use cases, and defining user journeys
